Following a childhood of cutting up her mothers clothes and an adolescence of making her own (sometimes questionable) outfits, Amy decided to pursue her love of fashion academically and after moving from Newcastle to London, graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from Westminster University in 2011.
After being featured in Vogue Italias 2011 feature 'Top 50 designers of the future', Amy worked with various fashion designers including, Markus Lupfer, Christopher Kane, Biba and Alexander McQueen before turning her concentration more towards styling.
Amy has collected vintage clothing from around the world and has a vast archive of pieces ranging from 1920s - 1990s in her London based studio. Valuable and rare pieces are cherrypicked for use on shoots. A large collection of modern day clothing is used to rent on commercial shoots in a bid to reduce buying & work in the most environmentally friendly manner.
Over the past 14 years Amy has worked as a costume stylist within the film, advertising & music industries on photoshoots, music videos and commercial projects for many film companies such as RSA (Ridley Scott Associates), Biscuit Filmworks, Blink Productions, Mother London, Bare Films, Pulse, Knucklehead, Scorch Films, Stink Films, Somesuch & Co, Moxie pictures and Vice among many others.
